weekly streetsnap #1

Taking inspiration from the “Daily Best 5 memo” on Haiji’s blog, What’s Cutiefive, I’ll start posting short lists of spiffy finds of the week from various street fashion blogs.  This will be the first of a weekly series, I hope I can keep up ^ ^”

Click on the photos for their original sources.

1. 37chan on Tokyo Fashion

This isn’t even my style, but I seriously like her hair.  Teased, messy curls FTW.  I just like how pieces of clothing that aren’t normally worn together work so well like this.  Clever layering, and plus for tying the checkered shirt around her waist.

2. Linnea on Lookbook

I felt like I had to include at least one semi-Halloween thing.  But seriously, look at her Dr. Martens!  She stuck the skeleton feet on herself!  If you click through and see the close up, it still looks like you could buy it like that.  So good.

3. Chinatsu on Ridsnap

Every element of this is so very Zipper magazine (even the colours!), which isn’t actually a bad thing /is biased.  Again, I like the layering because I don’t normally see the long hoodies under denim jackets on street style blogs too often.

4. Yuririsu on Style Arena

You know how damn bloggers these days are OBSESSED with Peter Pan collars?  I thought this one was more interesting than the 3204103 collars I see all over the internet, because it’s FURRY and LEOPARD PRINT and it reminds me of those awesome pillows you wear around your neck on long travels.

5. Mictim on Drop Tokyo

Every single thing about this coordinate makes it seem like a predictable choice that I would like.  But the best part about it is the skirt and its pattern, it’s so cute and quirky, along with the 3D puffy looking heart and star on the belt. (IRON MAIDEN SHIRT ;D)

That’s it for this week!  Feel free to share more street style blogs in the comments kekeke~
